The Trindle Spring Youth group is busily preparing for the National Youth Gathering to be held in New Orleans, Louisiana in the summer of 2012. This week long gathering, allows the youth and their chaperones to spend a week in prayer, fellowship, and worship and they learn new ways to experience the Lord and grow in their faith.

The Youth and Family Committee of the congregation has expanded the church gift card program. You can now purchase gift cards from not only grocery stores but numerous retail and entertainment locations. You receive full value for the gift card purchased but the youth group get a portion of the value from the merchant which will go into a fund to help support the costs associated with travel to the National Youth Gathering.

Pastor Lorenz is continuing his study of the Augsburg Confession, Luther's teachings and how these teachings impact on evangelism. The class meets on Monday evenings at 7:00 pm and runs through the last week in October.

The Parish Life Committee will again be serving a full meal on the Second Saturday in November. The November meal will be roast turkey and trimmings. The meal is at no cost and take out dinners are available. Please call the church office to register for the meal so there will be plenty of food for all.
