Meet Our Staff
Trindle Spring Lutheran Church has an experienced staff that wants to help this faith community more deeply connect to God. Below you can read a little bit about each member of the Trindle Spring Lutheran staff.
Aaron Erdley Lead Pastor Pastor Aaron is a Pennsylvania native, a graduate of Mansfield University with a BA in Music. He then earned his Masters of Divinity from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg. Pastor Aaron was called as the Lead Pastor at Trindle Spring Lutheran in July 2015. Prior to that, he served churches in Altoona, PA, and Lincoln, NE. He and his wife, Danielle, have two girls; Elena and Kathryn. In addition to his role here at Trindle Spring, he is also serving as the Chaplain for Citizen Fire Co. here in Mechanicsburg, and serves on the Board of Lutheran Campus Ministry at Penn State University. In his spare time, Pastor Aaron enjoys woodworking, spending time with his family, and playing guitar. Director of Faith Formation Position currently open. February 2022 |
Carolyn Destephano Visitation Pastor Pastor Carolyn is originally from Bedford, PA. She graduated from Shippensburg University with a degree in Elementary Education and after being a stay at home mom for many years entered Gettysburg Seminary and earned a Master of Divinity. After 25 years in the ministry, she retired 4 years ago, but continued to serve as an interim and a supply pastor. She and her husband Bob became members of Trindle Springs four years ago. They have two sons and five grandchildren. In her spare time, Pastor Carolyn enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and crocheting. |
Cheryl Guinther Parish Administrator Cheryl Guinther is our Parish Administrator. She brings more than 20 years of administrative experience. She desires to serve the church family with genuine personal care and a professional touch. Cheryl has worked in the business world and has served with her husband , Peter, as missionaries with a local mission organization in Zambia, Africa. Cheryl enjoys gardening, plants, reading and the blessing of close friendships. Cheryl is excited to serve the church family of Trindle Spring! |
Danielle Erdley
Music Director Danielle grew up in DuBois, PA, and went on to receive her Bachelors in Music Education from Mansfield University. She taught elementary music in Walkersville, MD, for several years before taking time off to raise her two daughters. Danielle has experience working with many different musical ensembles both as a performer and conductor, and desires to help Trindle Spring's members use their musical talents in many ways to glorify God in worship. Danielle is married to Pastor Aaron Erdley, and together they have two daughters, Elena and Kathryn, and a cute but not always well behaved dog named Stella. In her free time she enjoys reading, playing piano, and spending time with family and friends. |
Ann Kopacko Organist Ann is a life-long member of Trindle Spring. Having an interest in both music and caring for others, Ann obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy from Mansfield University. Ann and her husband John have raised five children, Michael, Christine, John, Lauren, and Katelyn. During periods of transition in our music department, Ann has always willingly assisted with the music program. Currently, she serves as the church organist providing the music for our worship services. |
